A portfolio of documented conversion lifts — not a reel.
Since 2017, 180+ landing pages, sales sequences, and product launches have shipped under one credential: an average 2.4× lift in on-page conversion, verified across 64 A/B-tested engagements with a median rise of 137%. Every figure below was measured by the client, not promised by the writer.
A Series-B SaaS in the customer-data space had a homepage that explained the product thoroughly and converted nobody. The internal team had A/B-tested six headline variants and watched conversion flatline between 1.1% and 1.3%. They brought in a senior rewrite — not a redesign.
The brief
Stop selling the dashboard. Sell the outcome a RevOps leader could defend to their CFO. The existing page led with feature density; the new brief required an Offer–Proof–Mechanism frame anchored in a single customer interview pattern: "we stopped guessing about pipeline."
The rewrite
Eleven customer interviews, transcribed and coded. A new hero line that named the buyer's skepticism rather than the product category. A proof block rebuilt around three named customer wins with revenue figures the buyer could verify. A mechanism section that explained how the lift worked without leaning on jargon.
The lift
Conversion rose from 1.2% to 3.1% over a 21-day A/B test — a 2.58× lift, slightly above the practice average. The client renewed for two more engagements inside the same quarter.
Each entry below shows the hero metric, the rewrite focus, and a before/after excerpt from the live page. Engagements are anonymized where the client has not approved public naming; framework and lift are documented.
SaaS · Onboarding2.1× activation lift
Trial-to-paid onboarding rewrite
A vertical-SaaS client was losing trial users at the second activation step. We rewrote the in-app upgrade prompt and the post-trial email sequence as a single narrative arc — same voice, same offer, three proof points pulled from customer calls.
Before
"Unlock the full power of the platform with our Pro plan."
After
"You built three workflows in your trial. Pro is the tier where the team starts using them — here's what changes on Monday."
DTC · Product Launch3.2× pre-order conversion
Six-figure supplement launch
A growth-stage DTC brand launched a flagship SKU into a saturated category. We rewrote the pre-order landing page around a single customer-quote mechanism ("the one I actually take on a plane") and rebuilt the proof section with three physician reviews rather than influencer screenshots.
Before
"Clinically studied ingredients in a daily capsule."
After
"The capsule a cardiologist takes on redeyes — and the 11-study stack she won't fly without."
Info-product · VSL1.9× checkout completion
Twenty-two minute VSL rebuild
An info-product operator had a VSL that closed inconsistently across cold traffic. We re-cut the script around a single mechanism ("the 4-step buyer-mirror") and rewrote the post-VSL checkout page so the offer echoed the video's closing line. The script itself was untouched.
Before
"This program will change how you think about sales."
After
"You closed one deal last quarter on gut feel. Here's the 4-step mirror that turns the next ten into repeatable."
SaaS · Homepage Refresh2.7× demo-request lift
Series-B homepage refresh
A RevOps platform raised Series B and needed a homepage that talked to enterprise buyers without alienating the mid-market base already converting. We split the proof section into two named segments and rewrote the hero around the buyer's promotion-defensible metric.
Before
"The unified revenue platform for modern teams."
After
"Stop forecasting on three spreadsheets. Show the board one number they'll actually defend."
The Paper Trail
Documentary artifacts behind the lifts.
Lifts are easy to claim and hard to verify. Every rewrite ships with a paper trail: the A/B result graph, the testimonial screenshot, the newsletter cover, the sales-page before/after thumbnail. A selection is below.
Danny is the rare writer who treats the brief like a strategist and the rewrite like a scientist. We came in expecting better copy. We left with a 2.58× lift on the homepage and a framework the team still uses to score every new landing page we ship.
The Door Is Narrow
If your numbers are already good, this probably isn't for you.
Six clients per quarter. A three-week waitlist. An $8K engagement floor and a 92% close rate on inbound discovery calls. The work is reserved for founders and marketing leaders who already know their conversion plateau is a copy problem, not a redesign problem.
